Rockbridge Holdings, LLC ("Rockbridge," "we," "us") operates themerchantbuilding.com, club.themerchantbuilding.com, and hotel.themerchantbuilding.com (the "Sites"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Sites, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit an inquiry or appointment request on the Club or Hotel site, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, how you heard about us, the areas you're interested in, and any message you include.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you view. Some pages on the Club site include embedded videos from Vimeo, which may set its own cookies when the video loads. We also use Google Analytics, described below.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit only to respond to your inquiry and follow up about the membership, residences, guest rooms, or hotel services you asked about. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent your personal information. We use automatically collected technical information to operate, secure, and improve the Sites.
How we share your information
We share your information only with the people and service providers who help us respond to you:
- Club inquiries are stored in a customer relationship management (CRM) system provided by Blackline, which we use to track and respond to membership and residence inquiries.
- Hotel inquiries are sent by email to the hotel's marketing team.
- Website hosting is provided by Webflow, which processes technical information to deliver the Sites.
- Embedded videos on the Club site are delivered by Vimeo.
These providers may use your information only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our guests, members, or business.
Cookies and analytics
The Sites use cookies needed for them to work, analytics cookies from Google Analytics, and any cookies set by embedded Vimeo videos. We do not use advertising cookies.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Sites, such as which pages are viewed and how long visits last. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device, and browsing activity on the Sites. You can learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so the Sites do not currently respond to these signals.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and follow up on your interest, and then delete it unless we have a legal or business reason to keep it longer. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information you submitted through the Sites, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email info@rockbridgeholdings.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
Children's privacy
The Sites are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
